In June, the actor told E! News how he loves being a dad to his 3-year-old son Billy, and revealed that his sobriety helped him get to a place where he was ready for fatherhood, People reported.

“I know who I am certainly by 57 now," Stamos said.

"It's been close to six years in June that I sobered up," the actor continued. "I never could have been a father during some of the more - some of it was really fun and some of it got to be very unhealthy."

In January, The “Full House” alum announced he was self-isolated after being exposed to coronavirus for a third time.

"My son went to bed last night crying and woke up crying cause he can't be with his father," Stamos wrote in a tweet. "I'm grateful to have a job, it's a privilege at this time. I was exposed to the virus for the 3rd time, and have to isolate again for another 10 days!"
