Kristin Cavallari has been a reality show mainstay for decades since her breakout days on “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.”
But the stress of being in the public eye manifested physically for the Uncommon James founder, she shared recently.
This week, Cavallari, 35, celebrated her latest phase in life, posting a bikini photo where she showed off her recent workout gains.
Alongside the shot of herself standing in a minimal black two-piece, staring out over a beach scene, Cavallari captioned, “I’ve been sitting on this picture for a few days going back and forth on if I should post it or not. Ultimately I decided to bc I’ve come a long way from a few years ago and I’m really proud of the progress I’ve made.”
The “Very Cavallari” star added two more pictures in the Instagram slideshow that show a stark contrast to a much thinner Cavallari.
“I don’t even recognize the girl in those other 2 photos,” notes Cavallari in the caption, “...and no, I never had an eating disorder..that was purely stress.”
Cavallari -- who shares children Camden, 9, Jaxon, 8, and Saylor, 6, with her ex, former NFL star, Jay Cutler -- went on to express the pride in her development.
“I work out really hard and am dedicated to a healthy lifestyle," she wrote, "and I think just because I’m a mom doesn’t mean I can’t be proud of my body and be comfortable in my skin.”

Aside from many impressed fans, a few of Cavallari’s famous friends dropped supportive comments, as Today reported.
Designer Brittney Kelley exclaimed, "Girl you are beautiful and STRONG.” "You look gorgeous!!” said "The Hills" co-star Audrina Patridge. "Stress really does play a huge part in health all around!”
Pro wrestler Nikki Bella, added, "Gorgeous healthy! #goals.”
“I’ve put on a lot of weight in the last few years, but in a good way.” Cavallari recently told Us Weekly. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have. I’m not trying to lose weight. I don’t weigh myself. I can tell how my clothes fit me.”
A previous selfie post from about five days earlier – with Cavallari flashing a peace sign while wearing a similar bikini – already proved the Uncommon James founder happy where she is and not planning on “sitting on” too many more photos this summer.
