Martha Stewart is the queen of seductive selfies by the pool, but the 82-year old businesswoman may have outdone herself with her latest one.
The television personality was inspired by the “dark” and “mysterious” ambiance of a 13th century castle in Italy, where she struck a pose in the heated pool in a stone tower.
Stewart, who was backlit by candlelight, shared that she was “relaxing before a massage and ablutions” before joining Brunello Cucinelli, the founder of the eponymous luxury fashion brand, for his 70th birthday celebration in Umbria.
Other celebrities, including actors Patrick Dempsey (Grey’s Anatomy), Vanessa Kirby (The Crown), and Ashley Park (Emily in Paris), joined the party where Stewart stirred the pasta before it was served to over 500 guests, all dressed in shades of beige, according to Vogue.
The Castello Di Reschio, an estate between Umbria and Tuscany in central Italy, offers eight restored farmhouses available for rent across 1,500 hectares (a little over 3,700 acres) of protected wilderness.
