In April, following a GRAMMY win for her and FINNEASJames Bond theme “No Time To Die,” and the release of her tour documentary, Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry, Billie dropped the hammer: Her second album, Happier Than Ever, would be released on July 30, sharing the album’s cover and tracklist featuring 16 new songs, including her soon-to-be hit singles "My Future," "Therefore I Am," "Your Power," "Lost Cause," and "NDA."

Billie's Happier Than Ever has been nominated this year for GRAMMYs in the Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Music Video categories, as well as an additional nomination for Best Music Film for her Disney+ debut Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.

Around release time, Eilish told Audacy’s Julia that the album's title, “encapsulated the last few years of my life really well, in a way that I thought the fans would understand. Just because I feel that when I was coming up, and getting bigger, I was actually very depressed and over time I feel that I, very obviously, my mental state rose and got so much better. I feel the fans really knew that and could see it.”

Billie added, “it also is kind of sarcastic in a way… but that also came from people being like, ‘So, you’re happy now!’ And it’s like, ‘well that’s only in this moment.’ It doesn’t stay; it did not stay, by the way. But, it goes up and goes down and things change. That’s how life works, so it’s kind of sarcastic. Also, ‘Happier Than Ever’ doesn’t mean happier than you’re ever gonna be, it means happier than you were before. That is what’s important, I think.”

These 16 tracks, flawlessly executed and highlighting the immense growth in songwriting and lyrical prowess of the 19-year-old GRAMMY winner, ended up being "the most fulfilling, most satisfying and profound experience" Billie says she's ever had with her music -- and this is just album number two!
