While Billie Eilish is usually on the receiving end of fangirl moments, the 21-year-old says the roles reverse when it comes to one of her favorite TV shows, The Office.

The 21-year-old musician recently joined Jenna Fischer [Pam Beesly] and Angela Kinsey [Angela Martin] on their Office Ladies podcast to gush about the show and share the hilarious mix-ups it caused her since she watched it at such a young age.
Eilish admits a lot of the jokes were over her head and the dry humor had her believing a lot of sarcastic statements were true… like U2 being “a band from Scranton that made it big.”
“This last June we were in Ireland,” Billie explained. “I’m in my hotel and I get flowers delivered to my hotel room and it has a little letter on it. It’s this really really sweet letter and it says it’s from Bono. I was like, ‘Why would Bono, who’s from Scranton… why would he send me something in Ireland? What does this have to do with him?”
Her confusion caused her team even more confusion as it is common knowledge the legendary band is from Ireland. “I was asking everyone, ‘What is Bono doing sending me flowers all the way across the world?’ She laughed. “Everybody was like, ‘Billie, they’re Irish.’”
She continued to explain where the mix-up happened, “It’s because when Michael [Scott] [Steve Carell] falls in love with Holly and he’s making her a mix — I blame John [Krasinski] [Jim Halpert] for this because Jim comes in and he goes, ‘What’s the band from Scranton that made it big? Is that U2?’ And Jim goes, ‘Yes.’ And then he sits down and goes, ‘You don’t love Holly.’ That’s all there is!”
Safe to say Billie knows the truth now, but the only question is, what other misinformation is she holding as truth? Only time will tell.
