During this year's GRAMMYs celebrations, a number of artists were expected to pay tribute to late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins following his tragic passing on March 25. Singer Billie Eilish wore her tribute front and center during her performance of her and her brother FINNEAS' multi-nominated single "Happier Than Ever."

Billie Eilish emerged somberly from a bedroom set built to resemble the official music video, and likely the space where she and brother FINNEAS famously create their moody and brooding musical soundscapes wearing a black tee featuring the late drummer, and his name emblazoned boldly on the back.

FINNEAS was among the first to react to the tragic news of Hawkins' death in Colombia on March 25 while on tour with the Foo Fighters, calling him "an incredible talent, who didn’t also need to be so kind and generous and cool but was all those things too anyway."

Billie, who rocked all-black drama on the Red Carpet tonight, has her latest album Happier Than Ever to thank for a number of nominations this year, and the GRAMMY-winning duo proved the title track's breadth with a blisteringly rocking performance.
Her nods this year are included in the Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Music Video categories, as well as an additional nomination for Best Music Film for her Disney+ debut Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.
