RADIO.COM Live Check In: BTS give a GRAMMY preview and offer Ariana Grande praise

Ahead of their performance at the GRAMMYS, BTS details what they're looking forward to most

Just days before their big GRAMMY performance, BTS joined RADIO.COM’s Kevan Kenney to share some behind-the-scenes details about how they’re all feeling ahead of their performance, what they'll do first if they win, and what they're working out to, to get ready for music's biggest night.

The wildly successful and beloved K-pop group has taken the world by storm, with adoring fans around the globe. Now BTS is up for Best Pop/Duo Group Performance at the 2021 GRAMMY Awards for their hit song, “Dynamite.”

Right off the bat, BTS tells Kevan what they’d do if they snag the GRAMMY this year, most importantly highlighting the BTS ARMY. “So every time we have something important and a big event like this we meet our fans and do a live stream because our fans are who we need to thank first if there is a win,” Jimin explains.

All seven members concur when they share, “We have our fans, the ARMY, they are near and far, but they are always supporting us," Jungkook says sincerely. "Always cheering for us, always loving us, so I’m not sure when we will meet again face to face, but we’ll keep working hard and practicing for when we can meet again.”

In terms of what we can expect from the band’s GRAMMY performance, BTS shares that they can’t drop any "spoilers" at the moment, but RM assures us it's going to be "a blast.”

Finally, BTS tells that in order to stay in top shape for their performances the band workouts, and always listens to music. Collectively BTS says they enjoy the new song “Leave the Door Open” by Silk Sonica new project featuring Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak. Plus. "Ariana [Grande]’s new album, is the best for the treadmill," smiles RM. "The tempo and her voice, is amazing," he adds about Positions from the fellow nominated star.
