Tack a good sense of humor onto Captain America’s super powers.
Well, actor Chris Evans’ super powers anyway, as the "Avengers" star recently posted humbling and hilarious photos of himself at Disneyland, which had fans cracking up.
In the side-by-side shot posted on Evans’ Twitter this week, the actor stands stone still, hands in pockets, in front of the sign for Pixar Pier – part of Disneyland's California Adventure Park - with various Disney characters such as The Incredibles and "Toy Story" icons Woody and Buzz LIghtyear.
Then in the next shot, Mickey and Minnie are posing all happy, and there’s Evans in the exact pose as before, same nervous smile on his face.
As even he had to admit in the post’s caption, “I promise I’m not photoshopped into these! I just have a very disciplined pose.”
Like many people when asked to pose for a photo, Evans just stood there with a goofy grin. As he added in the caption, “And I don’t know what to do with my hands.”
As Insider reported Evans was visiting Disneyland to promote the new Disney Pixar film, “Lightyear,” where Evans voices another famous superhero, Buzz Lightyear. It’s the latest in the beloved “Toy Story” franchise.
Note in the photos that Mickey and Minnie even took the time to don detailed Woody and Buzz outfits, respectively, for the occasion. Evans? White tee and jeans, like just another tourist.
Pixar was the first to post the shots, but Evans quickly reposted, adding the self-effacing captions for fans to have a laugh at.
And a couple of other video clips were posted too of Evans hanging around the sign, as the 41-year-old just kind of waves.
When you think about it though, that “disciplined pose” is a sturdy feature of Evans' most famous character – it’d be a little weird if Captain America got all kooky and mugged it up with Mickey and Minnie.
While "Lightyear" opens on Friday, you can pre-order tickets here now.
