According to a post on Janson's Instagram page, he invited a mini fan up on stage during his show in Illinois over the 4th of July weekend to jam out with their harmonica's out.
Janson and the young fan can be seen center-stage as they lean into one another, each with a harmonica in hand. After the solo, Janson reaches over and grabs the fan's arm to praise him as the crowd roars.
"Loved this moment from the show the other night," Janson wrote. "What a star!"
The video on Janson's page is a re-post of the moment captured by artist relations manager Derek Frank, who posted the video tagging Janson and his band with the caption, "Tell me who puts on a better show....I will wait."
According to a number of comments on the post, the fan joining Chris on stage is Wyatt Kassing.
Janson is no stranger to supporting the next generation of musicians. Most recently, he spent some quality time with his 9 year-old daughter, Georgia, after she asked for some help writing her very own song.
“What an honor it is for me to get to write a song with my kid,” Chris expressed. “One of the greatest gifts I’ve ever been given. Proud would be an understatement.”
