There’s a baby on board.
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are expecting their first child, according to People.
The news comes a little more than ten months after they tied the knot on June 8th.
This will be the first child for Schwarzenegger, while the “Jurassic World” actor shares a seven-year-old son, Jack, with ex-wife Anna Faris.
Back in 2019, Pratt disclosed how he hoped to expand his family going forward.
"The future? Oh. Lots of kids," he told “Entertainment Tonight” days after getting engaged to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver’s daughter. "Maybe less time spent working, more time spent enjoying life."
Pratt is continuing to work despite most film productions having shut down in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 40-year-old will rejoin his former “Parks and Recreation” cast for a
special at-home episode.
“It’s true! We’ve already filmed the episode!,” Pratt wrote on Instagram. “Many are saying it’s the greatest episode of television ever to be filmed in quarantine. It’s not a competition. But if it was... we would easily win. PLUS we’re donating a bunch of money as well to a really great cause. So there you have it. The creators of parks and rec have done it again!”
Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Jim O’Heir will appear in the reunion which benefits Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
"Parks and Recreation" premiered in 2009 and aired for seven seasons, before signing off in 2015.
The scripted half-hour special airs Thursday, April 30th at 8:30PM on NBC.
