Good news, Emo fans. Dashboard Confessional just announced a string of U.S. tour dates set to begin this summer, their first since cancelling a number of shows during last year’s DC20 20th-anniversary celebration tour due to the emergence of COVID-19.

"We. Are. Back!" Dashboard captioned their exciting announcement today, sharing their return to the road beginning in late August with warm-up shows first up north at the Alaska State Fair, followed by a stop at Bonnaroo with dates across the U.S. into early November.

Last summer, Dashboard singer Chris Carrabba notified fans of a serious motorcycle accident he was in, stating at the time his "injuries were severe but not life-threatening." He followed up that terrible news with some good later in the year, announcing his partnership with Nightowl Canning to both invest in and serve as an ambassador for Canvino, a new wine brand described as "Bottle-Quality Wine, In A Can."

Luckily, we're now getting the news we've wanted to hear all along -- Chris is up and about and he's ready to go on tour -- and Dashboard is certainly not the only group ready to hit the road. Here's a running tally of everyone getting back into the swing of things in 2021 and 2022.
