"Basically, I always kind of wanted to do music," Siiickbrain says. "I've been writing forever -- poetry and I wrote a novel but didn't put it out -- so I've been writing for like, ever, for myself and for my mental health. In the back of my head I've always wanted to do music."

Listening to music, Siiickbrain found she had a great scream, and came to the realization that "life is short," so why not take the plunge? "I was like, I'm just gonna do whatever the f*** I want," she says.

With inspiration taken from the music she grew up on thanks to her family; Elliott Smith, The Cure, and The Shins thanks to her sister, Yellowcard, blink-182 from her brother, and classic music from her parents -- you can hear plenty of changes throughout her sounds. Check out her latest, "SILENCE," below and listen to the full interview with Siiickbrain above.
