Britney Spears has been scheduled for a hearing on June 23, where she will have the opportunity to express herself in regards to her legal conservatorship.

Spears’ circumstance was brought to the attention of the world and scrutinized by many after the release of the documentary, Framing Britney Spears.
Since its release, several celebrities and fans have questioned the 13-year court-approved conservatorship highlighted in the documentary after Spears expressed she no longer wanted her father, Jamie Spears, to serve as her conservator.
As a conservator, Spears’ father’s was responsible for duties such as overseeing her finances, monitoring her physical care and managing living arrangements.
Spears’ upcoming hearing date was scheduled by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny after a request by Spears’ probate attorney, Samuel Ingham, who did not specify what she would say.
In addition to Spears’ hearing, a separate hearing was scheduled for July 14 to discuss various updates on motions and accounting.
“It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability cause I’ve always been so judged… insulted… and embarrassed by the media… and still am to this day,” Spears wrote on her Instagram.
“I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in… I cried for two weeks and well… I still cry sometimes!!!!”
Spears has been sharing her rediscovered love for dancing with her fans to help her cope with the weight she’s been feeling.
