Lil Nas X joined us for an Audacy Check In with host Julia to discuss all of the excitement surrounding his debut album, MONTERO, which triumphantly arrived last month -- and much more.
The artist spoke about his favorite aspects of his debut project and filled us in on the making of his studio album.
We've already given listeners our First Impressions of LNX's debut MONTERO, and suffice to say, we're pretty much in awe!
In this new chapter, LNX shared that this era in his life has been "going amazing," and he adds, "I've grown a lot."
Separately, we've also been given a glimpse into some of the almosts surrounding the album. Even though MONTERO already boasts some pretty major features, including Jack Harlow, Doja Cat, Elton John, Megan Thee Stallion, and Miley Cyrus — Nas was hoping for at least one or two more from Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj.
The "Industry Baby" singer spoke about working with new artists and touched on some behind the scenes details.
