Lauren Alaina and Chase Rice jokingly explored the possibility of becoming Country music’s next big couple. We can’t stop laughing… and neither could they!

The pair recently sat down for an interview with Audacy’s Rob + Holly ahead of WYCD Detroit’s Ten Man Jam and the conversation quickly turned to whether or not they could make it as a couple, and stayed there for a hilarious 10 minutes.
After agreeing on the number of kids they’d like (3), finding out Chase is Lauren’s type and that he’s “always had a thing” for her, you might actually start scratching your head… wait, are they for real?
“He seems like a pretty good catch,” Lauren said, pointing to Chase. “So if people want to think he’s my boyfriend, that’s fine with me! He’s tall, he’s handsome, he’s talented.”
Chase chimed in saying, “I have always has a thing for you, Lauren.”
Lauren responded with, “Now I’m starting to panic, I’m gettin’ sweaty!” We all are, Lauren!
The friends definitely playing into the skit, but were sure to clear things up by the end as Lauren shared she is in a very happy relationship with her boyfriend of 1 1/2 years.
“I have like, an actual, real-life boyfriend — Like, not Chase Rice,” she said. “We’ve been together a year and a half, so it’s not like I just started dating him. I’ve just never posted about him or anything because he’s just mine.”
Well, it was fun while it lasted, huh Chase? We look forward to hearing a good heartbreak song from him in the very near future…
