His younger brother Kieran Culkin, who currently stars on the HBO hit “Succession,” is now sharing some of the downsides of celebrity Macaulay experienced after becoming a household name at such a young age.

“He would get harassed on the street,” Kiernan said of his brother to The Hollywood Reporter. “One time, a woman pulled off his hat and looked at him and said, ‘Yeah, it’s him! You’re not that cute.’ And then handed the hat back and walked away.”

Kieran also began his Hollywood career as a young boy and even portrayed Macaulay’s cousin Fuller in “Home Alone.” The 39-year-old described how he was often mistaken for his more famous sibling.

“When I was doing one of the Father of the Bride movies, this woman ran up to me and said, ‘Are you Macluckly Macluckly?’ And I went, ‘No.’ She goes, ‘Can I get a picture?’ I said, ‘I’m not him.’ And in my mind, I’m thinking, ‘Nobody’s that,’’ Kieran recalled to the outlet.

Macaulay would go on to star in the 1992 sequel "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York", but not the three follow-up sequels. He’s set to make a cameo in the sixth installment titled “Home Sweet Home Alone,” which will premiere on Disney+ on November 12th.

Kieran will reprise his Emmy-nominated role as Roman Roy on “Succession” when the HBO show’s third season launches October 17th.
