“There are places out there you can’t find on any map. They’re not gone, they’re just lost."
And therein is the opening line of the official trailer for “Uncharted,” the upcoming action blockbuster is a prequel to the popular PlayStation franchise of the same name.

The film stars Mark Wahlberg and Tom Holland. Holland serves as the protagonist Nathan Drake, an adventure-loving explorer, while Wahlberg stars as his friend and mentor, Victor Sullivan.
In the trailer, we see the two embark on a mysterious map-driven, globe-trotting, treasure-hunting adventure, all to the strains of Led Zeppelin’s “Ramble On.”
In the midst of the action comes along Sophia Ali as Chloe Frazer before the trailer leaps into a flurry of roof chases, jumps into lakes, girls with guns, impossible CGI stunts, and finally, Antonio Banderas strolling out of a fancy sports car in a slick tuxedo.
As Variety reports, Holland ("Spiderman: Far from Home") recently told GQ, “I had to play this very tough, very stoic guy -- basically be Mark Wahlberg. My character is supposed to be a fucking action hero in this moment! Look, I haven’t seen it, so I don’t know if I succeeded in that. But it was an important lesson learned, because, at times, it was less about land a mark and go through this scene, and more about land a mark, stand like this and see my bulging biceps. … It was a mistake and is something that I will probably never do again.”
“Uncharted” comes out February 18 “exclusively in movie theaters,” the voiceover states.
