Much like Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill,” got revitalized in the zeitgeist thanks to Volume 1, Metallica’s 1986 thrash metal classic “Master of Puppets” has received the same treatment in Volume 2, thanks to Season 4 hero, Eddie Munson, and his epic bat battle guitar solo.

After publicly expressing gratitude for their part in the epic Stranger Things season finale, the metal legends decided to show just how much by giving Eddie the ultimate thank you, by duetting his epic scene after Netflix posted the challenge on TikTok.

The streamer challenged fans to play along with Eddie as he raged out to “Master of Puppets” from atop an RV. And that’s exactly what Metallica did, donning the already iconic Hellfire Club shirts, might we add, writing in the caption, “Eddie, this is for you!”
