Sheesh! How famous does Ryan Reynolds have to get?!
After a slew of hit films (“Red Notice,” “Deadpool,” "The Proposal," “The Hitman’s Bodyguard”), those hilarious Mint Mobile commercials, and even going TikTok viral, you’d think Reynolds would get recognized. And he does – as Ben Affleck.

Reynolds, 45, recently admitted in an interview that he frequently gets mistaken in public for “The Tender Bar” star. As Yahoo Entertainment reported, one place in particular consistently makes the curious mistake.
"There's a pizza place in the East Village in New York that I've been going to for years," Reynolds explained during an appearance on "The Dear Hank and John" podcast. "They believe I'm Ben Affleck, and I've never corrected them."

And it’s turned into a “Seinfeld”-like conundrum where Reynolds thinks it’s gone too far to correct the face mistake now.
Though he's famous enough to nab some famous-people freebies once in a while, Reynolds has not taken advantage of the Affleck mistake.
"I do everything normal like everybody else," he said, making it clear he's a paying customer. "They just think I'm Ben Affleck. They'll ask how J.Lo is and I'm like, 'Great, good.' I get the pizza and off I go."
While waiting for his pie, Reynolds admits he feels “mildly put out” when the situation arises, and that maybe that affect has kept up the Affleck ruse.
"When I leave, they think, 'I don't think Ben Affleck is amused by us and our questions,'" said the star. "I gotta be more chipper."
We’re guessing Reynolds and Affleck have had a laugh over this, as the two go back a bit. They worked together in the 2006 film, “Smokin' Aces,” and Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively, starred in Affleck's 2010 film, “The Town.”
The whole mistaken identity thing might only get worse. Aside from the constant appearance of Affleck and Jennifer Lopez in the gossip columns, Affleck has been very busy -- with two films out now ("The Tender Bar," "The Last Duel") and soon reprising his role as Batman in the upcoming blockbuster "The Flash" -- while Reynolds recently announced a sabbatical from acting.
Maybe Reynolds should consider taking a sabbatical from that pizza place too.
