During Thursday's episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, fans got to see more behind-the-scenes details of Travis Barker’s romantic proposal to Kourtney Kardashian.

While all the candles and rose-petals were beyond romantic, it’s a trip Barker took to the grave of Kourtney’s late-father, Robert Kardashian Sr., to seek his blessing that has everyone in a pile of mush.
Kourtney’s mom, Kris, shared the deets during the show as she explained to daughter, Kim, how Barker went about seeking her blessing. Rob Sr. passed in September 2003 after an eight-week battle with esophageal cancer.
"He asked for her hand in marriage, and I was like, ‘Literally, I want to cry now,’” Kris shared during the episode. "It was so sweet and so tender. And then he said he went to your dad's grave and asked your dad [for permission], and I just lost it.”

She added, “It's all happy, I just wish your dad was here to see it. I can hardly believe that it's the first time that she's getting married."
Kourtney and Travis got engaged October 17, 2021 after a beach proposal at the Rosewood Miramar Beach hotel in Montecito, CA. Barker coordinated the special moment complete with candles and rose petals in the shape of a heart.
