It's time to put up your luxury tents because a sequel to the 1989 comedy "Troop Beverly Hills" is coming.
In the film, Shelley Long stars as a Los Angeles housewife, Phyllis Nefler, who goes on to join a group of Beverly Hills Girls Scouts in order to bond with her daughter amid a contentious divorce from her husband.
With a world of Beverly Hills smarts about her, Phyllis is able to teach the girls a thing or two about the real world as well as the wilderness.
Now, the film is getting an update from director Oran Zegman, Variety reports.
Starring in "Troop Beverly Hills" is perhaps Long's most memorable role to date, using her street smarts to help her navigate a world in the outdoors.
The film is known for its feminist themes and also starred Craig T. Nelson, Betty Thomas, Mary Gross, and Jenny Lewis.
The reboot will be created under Sony's TriStar Pictures with producer Laurence Mark, known for his work on "The Greatest Showman," at the helm.
Ava Fries will return as producer alongside Charles W. Fries. The screenplay is penned by Aeysha Carr, showrunner of "Woke" and currently writing the screenplay for "Planes, Trains & Automobiles."
Carr is also known for writing episodes of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."
