Currently on the road with their Metal Tour of the Year, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine brought some unexpected smiles to a couple of kids' faces when he, as inconspicuous as Mustaine can be, dropped into the stands to personally hand out some gifts.

Megadeth's historically ornery frontman, dressed in all black with a hood covering his face, was filmed slipping into the still arriving crowd at one of his recent Metal Tour of the Year stops, quietly sitting down behind a couple of kids.
As he hands each of them a guitar pick without saying a word, their guardians were completely unaware of the Rock royalty sitting just beside them. Interestingly enough, no one else seemed to notice Mustaine creeping around the stands either. As for the kids in the clip -- soundtracked by Megadeth's 1986 single "Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?" -- they were obviously impressed by the awesome experience, whether or not they knew exactly who Dave was in the moment.
As the video posted on his personal Instagram account ends, we see Mustaine hold a finger over his lips, wave goodbye, and quietly walk away. Like a Heavy Metal St. Nick, Mustaine captioned his clip simply, "Metal is alive and well." Indeed it is, Dave.
