Just because Christmas is a little different this year doesn’t mean you can’t see Santa.
But while the thought of an in-person event may be unnerving for some parents, there are more options than ever to get in the spirit and pay Santa a virtual visit.
There’s still time to make your case for the naughty-or-nice list. Here are four ways to see Santa remotely, culled from Real Simple.
Book an appointment with Santa
Sam’s Club is offering members free five-minute video chats with Santa. Families can sign up here. Each meeting comes with a video and photo that are downloadable to share with family and keep for the future.
Channel your inner Santa emoji
You can play Santa with the Enchant Santa app. With similar functionality as Animojis/Memojis late-model iPhones, Enchant Santa lets you design your own Santa and pick a background to have a virtual Santa meeting with someone else who also has the app. This will cost aspiring Santas $5.99 for two calls, or $24.99 for 20 calls.
Meet with an automated, assuring Santa
The American Heart Association partnered up with AskSanta.com to answer many kids’ questions, and assure them that Christmas is still on, even with the pandemic happening. AI has never been so holly jolly.
Get Santa on celeb status with a personalized video
As far as stars go, who’s bigger than Santa? Cameo, which allows users to send virtual shoutouts to friends and families from actual celebrities, has a swath of Santas to choose from to put your kid in a festive mood.
