
A former staffer of Gov. Andrew Cuomo has filed a criminal complaint against the governor with the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, according to multiple reports.

The ex-staffer, referred to as “Executive Assistant #1” in the sexual harassment report by Attorney General Letitia James, filed the complaint Thursday with the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Craig Apple told the New York Post that sheriff officials contacted the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
“The end result could either be it sounds substantiated and an arrest is made and it would be up to the DA to prosecute the arrest,” Apple told the outlet.
The former assistant to the governor, who has remained unnamed, has accused him of groping her in the Executive Mansion last year. Cuomo has denied ever touching anyone inappropriately.
