Orange Police have identified the suspect in the mass shooting that took place Wednesday in Orange.

He is Aminadab Gaxiola Gonzalez, 44, whose last known address is in Fullerton. He was taken into custody Wednesday night.

Police say they found a semi-automatic handgun, pepper spray, handcuffs and ammo apparently belonging to the shooter.

Four victims were killed in a shooting Wednesday night in a business complex, including one child. A fifth person was wounded. Police say the shooter killed a man, two women and a 9-year-old boy.

The Orange County DA said the man, who allegedly killed four people, could possibly face the death penalty. OC DA Todd Spitzer also said it appears a 9-year-old boy died in his mother’s arms. A woman, who was with the boy, survived and is in critical condition at the hospital.

Police said in a news conference Thursday morning that all those involved had a business and personal relationship that existed between the suspect and all of the victims.

Police said all of the victims were connected.

The victims have not been identified yet.

One man and one woman who were killed were found in the Unified Homes business.

Police say the shooter locked the front and back gates at the complex on west Lincoln Avenue before shooting the five people late yesterday afternoon.
