Photos and video of a St. Louis couple holding and pointing guns at protesters calling for the mayor to resign are going viral.
It happened at a home on Portland Place in the Central West End neighborhood. The man held an AR-15 while the woman held a pistol.
Does anyone recognize these two dangerously silly people? This is in St. Louis. pic.twitter.com/y64pg8Jyhu

More than 500 protesters rallied in the neighborhood of St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson's home. She's come under fire in recent days, after giving out the names and addresses of some protesters who had wrote letters to her suggesting she should defund the police department. Krewson apologized on Facebook for it.
An online petition calling for her resignation had about more than 44,000 signatures as of early Monday.

Social media users slammed the couple, not just for pointing guns at protesters who appeared to be lawfully avoiding the property, but how the couple held their weapons in an unsafe manner...sometimes inadvertently pointing the guns at each other.
No shots were fired.
