And he did it by mounting an 18-point comeback against the Kansas City Chiefs, on the road in Arrowhead Stadium, for a 27-24 overtime victory in the AFC Championship Game.
Burrow is now the only quarterback other than Tom Brady to beat Mahomes and the Chiefs in the playoffs.
He also orchestrated the game-winning drive for the second week in a row, setting up Evan McPherson’s 31-yard game-winning field goal in overtime.
The only other quarterbacks to have multiple game-winning drives in a single postseason? Kurt Warner and Tom Brady.
The NFL may never see another Tom Brady again, but if Burrow can keep this up and hoist the Lombardi Trophy at SoFi Stadium in two weeks the comparisons will only continue to grow.
