Carson Wentz’s first game as a Commander against his old friends in Philadelphia went swimmingly in the first half…for the Eagles, who recorded six sacks (including two strip sacks), one fumble recovery, and only 50 yards allowed to Wentz and the DC offense, and held a 24-0 lead at the half.
As you might expect, Eagles Twitter (never one to let a good opportunity to heckle pass) and Commanders Twitter (never one to expect nice things) had opposite reactions to what was, at halftime, a game that wasn’t nearly as close as the three-score difference.
