Chesterfield, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - After hours of public comment, the Chesterfield School Board voted 4-1 Monday night to start the 2020-2021 school year virtually. Chesterfield now joins Richmond in going with a virtual start to the school year.
Chesterfield students have been out of the classroom since March 12th. A virtual start was recommended Superintendent Merv Daugherty. The District stress classes will be live, and graded, unlike the end of the last school year.
