Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - AAA Mid-Atlantic travel experts believe this summer's travel, with vaccinations rising and states reopening, could rival or beat 2019. AAA's Chip Morgan says they have very high expectations for this year's summer travel.
AAA continues to believe that driving this summer will be the safest travel, as drivers will be able to control the environment. However, they also note that the industry is following safety measures, and that you can be safe using other modes as well.
In regards to gas prices, AAA's Morgan Dean says they expect to see a rise, starting this month, as demand starts to increase as well.
