Dinwiddie, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Dinwiddie Commonwealth's Attorney confirms, via email, that she is yet to speak to the U.S. Attorney's Office about the Irvo Otieno case. Commonwealth's Attorney Ann Baskervill said in March that she was going to ask for the Feds' help because of the limited resources her office has.

Baskervill is her staff's only attorney. Normally, she would have three total, but she is understaffed right now. She also has said previously that the Feds' would be able to help with the multi-jurisdictional nature of this case. Otieno was being held at the Henrico jail prior to being brought to Central State Hospital for admittance.

Ten people face murder charges in Otieno's death, including seven Henrico Sheriff's deputies and three Central State Hospital employees.
