Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -- Acting Richmond Police Chief Rick Edwards has provided new details on the video he says depicts two teens being robbed at gunpoint and forced to strip naked.

Speaking at a community event in south Richmond, Chief Edwards called the incident "abhorrent," saying that two teenagers were forced to take off their clothes after being robbed as an act of "humiliation." 911 was never called over the incident, according to Edwards, but members of the community began sending it to him after the perpetrator posted video of the incident on social media.

The primary suspect, a 17-year-old, was apparently already in custody for unrelated reasons, but now the Commonwealth Attorney is involved in the pending charges. The video was removed from social media, according to Edwards, at RPD's request to the companies.
