A new report from WalletHub names the most and least stressed cities in America. They compared 182 cities across 39 key metrics in four main areas: work stress, financial stress, family stress and health & safety stress.
Cleveland ranked as the most stressed city, while the least stressed is South Burlington, Vermont. So, if you’ve been feeling stressed, apparently you’re not alone!
They ranked each city on things including the average weekly work hours, unemployment rate, average annual household income and the divorce rate. Cleveland tops the list as the most stressed city in the country and the number one reason is for financial stress, number two for health & safety stress and third for family stress.
The least stressed city in the U.S. in 2023 is Burlington, Vermont. It is at the bottom of the list for both financial stress and family stress and in the bottom 10 for health & safety stress.
