Cleveland ranks ninth on a list of emerging spring break destinations which is shocking to many. Our city has a lot to offer, but it isn't seen as a spring break location. The risk of snow while spring breaking in The Land is definitely possible, but that didn't stop the Airbnb and Vrbo bookings. The growth for short-term rentals from March 2022 to this month, March 2023, show Cleveland is up 125% according to Key Data, which tracks metrics in the hospitality industry.
New York City tops on the emerging spring break list, with 186% growth in bookings from March 2022 to March 2023. Tulsa, Oklahoma, was second and Old Orchard Beach, Maine was third.
