Sandy Waters

A Greece, NY, and SUNY Brockport native, Sandy Waters originally joined WPXY with a variety of responsibilities in Marketing, Promotions, On Air, Production and Sales. In 1999, she got her big on-air break as co-host of the Spezzano & Sandy morning show on 98PXY. She continued waking up Rochester for 15 years on the market’s premiere Top 40 station. In September 2014, Sandy and co-host Scott Spezzano moved down the hall to the Adult Hits-formatted 98.9 The Buzz where they joined Chris Konya to create the all-new Breakfast Buzz morning show.
In addition to her role on the Breakfast Buzz, Sandy hosts a weekly, nationally distributed, podcast called Seven Figures- Smart Money Strategies for Women. It is one of the fastest growing podcasts in Western NY and is acknowledged as the leading financial podcast in our area.
Among her many honors, Sandy is a past winner of the "Best Radio Personality (Female)" category in City Newspaper's "Best of Rochester" awards. After 20 years in the industry Sandy still loves and works hard to make a positive impact on the community through her tireless volunteering, and strong listener connection.
