A lovable dog named Venmo is searching for a forever family through LifeLine Animal Project and DeKalb County Animal Services.

At 3 years old and weighing approximately 68 pounds, Venmo is a handsome, intelligent, and friendly pup with plenty of personality. While his name may suggest digital payments, Venmo says he only accepts payment in the form of tennis balls, treats, and lots of affection.

Shelter staff describe Venmo as an eager companion who already knows commands like "sit" and "shake." He walks well on a leash, can catch treats and toys in midair, and loves spending time playing with his favorite toys. Soccer balls are at the top of his list, making him the perfect teammate for anyone looking for an active and playful companion.

Venmo is also friendly with other dogs, although he's confident enough to enjoy doing his own thing. His combination of intelligence, good manners, and playful spirit makes him an excellent match for a family looking to add a loyal best friend to their home.

Potential adopters can meet Venmo at DeKalb County Animal Services, located at 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road in Chamblee. No appointment is necessary to visit the shelter and meet Venmo, along with hundreds of other adoptable dogs and cats waiting for loving homes.

For more information about Venmo or the adoption process, email adoption@dekalbanimalservices.com or call 404-294-2165.

LifeLine Animal Project encourages anyone considering adding a pet to their family to stop by and see if Venmo could be the perfect addition to their home.
