Atlanta's own Zac Brown band member John Driskell Hopkins the group singer and multi-instrumentalist has just revealed that he's been diagnosed with ALS, it's also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. He made the announcement while surrounded by his bandmates, "Hey guys, John Driskell Hopkins here with Zac Brown band, I have tough news to share over the past several years I've noticed some balance issues and some stiffness in my hands I have been diagnosed with ALS because my symptoms have been slow progressing from the start we believe they will continue to be slow progressing going forward. God willing I plan to be rocking with these amazing people for many years to come." The Zach Brown Band is dedicated to helping find a cure for ALS.
The Johnny Depp Amber Heard trial continues, but was strangely interrupted when a woman in the gallery stood up with a baby in her arms. "All of a sudden this woman stands up in the back of the courtroom with her baby and she says Johnny I love you, our souls are connected and he kind of turned and waved as he does sometimes and she held up the baby and she said this baby is yours and everybody was like, 'oh okay' and the deputies like, 'you're out of here'."
