
Following the Writers Guild of America strike that cut last season short and delayed the start of a new season, Saturday Night Live is back.

Former SNL cast member, Pete Davidson, will make his hosting debut for the season 49 premiere on October 14 with musical guest, Ice Spice.
Davidson was previously set to host the show scheduled for May 6, 2023 however, it ended up being the first one cancelled due to the strikes that lasted nearly five months.
The first show of the new season isn’t the only one fans can get excited about. It’s also been revealed Bad Bunny will appear on the second week (October 21) as he makes his hosting debut and also serves as musical guest. The last time the Puerto Rican rapper appeared on the show was February 2021.
Additionally, SNL has confirmed all cast members from Season 48 will return with Chloe Troas added as a featured player.
SNL airs live Saturdays on NBC and Peacock at 11:30PM ET.
