Chula Vista has a fun new way for you to get out! And you'll support local businesses when you do it.
Starting this Sunday (August 2nd), and every Sunday in August, the historic Third Avenue in Chula Vista will be closed to regular traffic.
Merchants and restaurants will expand outside to offer dining and other outdoor services.
The Third Avenue Village Association tells us that Third Avenue will be closed to traffic between E Street and Center Street, to give local small businesses a hand.
The cross streets of E Street, Davidson Street, and F Street will be open for vehicle traffic. You will see signs and/or barriers indicating the closures.
