You can always count on a five-year-old to keep things real and Kelly Clarkson’s kiddo, Remington Alexander, did just that as he heard the call of Mother Nature over a personal serenade by Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

The hilarious moment was shared in a recently-released preview for the third season of Kelly Clarkson’s The Kelly Clarkson Show, premiering September 13.
In the video, Kelly and her seven-year-old daughter, River Rose, can be seen snuggling and singing along with Martin to an acoustic version of, “Yellow.” That is, until Remington chimes in abruptly with, “I need to go to the bathroom,” followed by a big grin.
“When nature calls… mid-song!” Captioned the clip posted to her Instagram.
Kelly’s September 13 premiere will air via NBC. Beginning next year, Clarkson’s show will fill the daytime slot made available by The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which comes to an end in 2022.
