Oreo’s leaving pumpkin spice and fall in the rearview.

The sweets brand will get in the holiday groove next with a new Snickerdoodle flavor.

The cookies will be available for a limited time and hit stores Oct. 17. The dessert combines cinnamon flavor creme with green and red sugar crystals between two snickerdoodle-flavored cookies.
They will only be available while supplies last.
The flavor was announced this week via the official Oreo Instagram account. The post’s caption read, “Not your grandma’s snickerdoodle cookie,” with a winking emoji. The video featured a younger, bearded person dressed as a grandma and dancing around a kitchen while holding the fresh packaging.
People hopped in the post’s comments thirsting for the upcoming savory treats. Many commenters saying they “need” these now and one particular dessert fan saying they sound amazing but pleading with Oreo not to make away their fav Gingerbread flavor cookies.
The new Snickerdoodle flavor Oreos come after their announcement and release for the first time in five years of the Pumpkin Spice flavor. Those feature two golden Oreo cookies with a “festive pumpkin spice flavored cream” in the sandwich middle.
Make sure to snag some Snickerdoodle sleeves off the shelf on or after Oct. 17 as this flavor is only available while supplies last!
