A child has drowned in a Dallas pool over the weekend.
Police and firefighters report they got the call Saturday afternoon about a four-year-old that had been found in a backyard pool at a home on Myerwood Lane in North Dallas near Midway and Forest Lane.
Police officers were the first ones on-scene and immediately started CPR which was continued by paramedics on the way to the hospital. But the child did not survive.
Police have not said who was supposed to be watching the child.
