HOUSTON (Talk1370.com) -- Less than a year after she was charged with murder for a fatal stabbing, 27-year-old Felisha Washington was charged with stabbing yet another woman last month.
According to Houston television station KTRK-TV, Washington was charged Aug. 27 with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. This time, her victim survived, said the outlet.
“This individual, who is on bond for murder, was outside of her residence, outside of her curfew hours, and had some pretty significant contact with a witness of that murder,” said Chief Prosecutor Sean Teare of the recent stabbing, according to KRIV-TV, which reported that Washington latest alleged victim was a witness to her previous alleged murder.
Washington was charged in December with the murder of 51-year-old Ramona Jones, who was found on the 4500 block of Idaho Street in Houston around 8:55 a.m. Oct. 28, according to a press release from Houston police. Jones was discovered by a witness lying in a drainage ditch and authorities determined she had multiple stab wounds, said police.
“Further investigation determined Washington and Jones were next door neighbors. The two had a long-running dispute, which ended with Washington stabbing Jones,” the press release said.

Washington was arrested Dec. 16 without incident and charged in the 230th State District Court. Although her bond was initially set at $100,000, court records show District Court Judge Chris Morton lowered it to $50,000. Washington posted bail before the end of December and was released.
During her first appearance Aug. 29 on the fresh assault charge, Washington was given a $75,000 bond and she remained in jail as of Aug. 30, said ABC 13. Texas has filed a motion requesting a hearing to deny bail.
“It's not fair at all. We understand we have to have due process,” Jazmine Jones, one of Ramona Jones’ daughters, told ABC 13. “But when is enough, enough, when you've taken someone's life.”
“When is she going to be punished for her crimes? She's going to get out and stab someone else,” said Sydni Lavan, another one of the victim’s three daughters.
“I miss her a lot and she was always looking out for everybody all the time,” said Dakota Jones of her mother.
