For the Texas Renaissance Festival on air contest, listen weekdays from September 29, 2025 - October 3, 2025 between 6:00 AM CT and 10:00 AM CT for the cue to call. Upon hearing the cue to call, be the designated caller to get through to the contest line at 713-881-5500. The designated caller will then participate in one (1) of the following two (2) games for their chance to win a prize. Game that is selected is at the discretion of the on-air talent:

HARDCORE BARDCORE

PLAYERS: 1+

Frito & Katy will take the designated caller at (713) 881-5500 and play them a clip of a popular country song that’s been altered to sound like it came straight from the Middle Ages. The designated caller must then correctly identify the title AND the artist to win the prize. If the designated caller does not know the necessary information, another caller will be selected and the game will continue as described above until a designated caller can identify BOTH the song AND original artist of the medieval-inspired cover.

There will only be one (1) featured song per game.

MEAD OR STEED

PLAYERS: 1+

Frito & Katy take the designated caller at (713) 881-5500 and read them a name that either belongs to a current brand of mead, or an iconic racehorse. Regardless of the answer, a second (2nd) name will be given. If the designated caller correctly identifies the second (2nd) name, after also correctly identifying the first (1st), they will be determined the winner. If the designated caller fails to guess the second (2nd) after also incorrectly identifying the first (1st), a new designated will be selected and the game will continue as described above until a designated caller can correctly classify two (2) of the three (3) names.

The three (3) names will stay the same until a winner is determined.

The designated caller who is determined the winner of one of the selected games above will, upon verification of eligibility, receive: will receive: four (4) tickets and one (1) parking pass to the Texas Renaissance Festival in Todd Mission, TX, courtesy of Texas Renaissance Festival. The approximate retail value of each prize is $180. There will be five (5) total winners in this contest. Redeeming and using the prize(s) in this contest requires for the winner(s) (i) must be able to pick up their prize at Audacy, 24 E Greenway Suite 1900, Houston, TX 77046 (ii) to have a valid email address and an app-enabled mobile device capable of downloading and running a third-party mobile ticketing app (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS, MLB, etc.); (iii) to install, or have already installed, such mobile ticketing app on their app-enabled mobile device; and (iiii) to login into an existing user account or to sign up for a free user account with the third-party operating such mobile ticketing app by completing a form with all required information, including at a minimum first name, last name, and valid email address. PRIZE(S) IN THIS CONTEST CANNOT BE REDEEMED OR USED BY ANY MEANS OTHER THAN THE DESIGNATED THIRD-PARTY MOBILE TICKETING APP FOR THIS PRIZE.
