We found out J.J. Watt was leaving from his social media accounts and today we found out where he's headed from his social media accounts. He is joining former Houston Texan Wide Receiver, DeAndre Hopkins in Arizona wearing Cardinal red.
There were clues dropped online that led people to believe this may be the move like the post from Hopkins that said, "let's finish what we started..."
Watt signed a 2-year $31 million contract with $23 million guaranteed.
Texan fans are still trying to get their grasp of all the changes and tumult within the organization that is reflecting in all the recent rearrangements. As for the QB position in Houston, it's still very much a looming question and scenario.
Let there be no doubt that Houston has enjoyed calling J.J. Watt our representative for quite some time and like all good things, the time has come to move on and we'll do the same. From all of us at The Bull, we say thank you to J.J. Watt for all the memories and headlines he's provided for us over the years for all the right reasons.
On a little bit of a spiritual note, my family believes that cardinals are a sign from God that we're loved and appreciated. I'm going to look at it from a point of Good that two of our most beloved Texan players from the last decade are now in a place where they'll be appreciated and allowed to flourish.
