100.3 The Bull presented the 22nd Ten Man Jam at the House of Blues on Thursday, December 8th, 2022! The show featured Brett Young, Jimmie Allen, Ingrid Andress, Eli Young Band, Ashley Cooke, Kolby Cooper, Caroline Jones, Elvie Shane, Frank Ray and Josh Abbott Band!

Ten Man Jam is Houston's biggest one day Country Music event of the year and features each of the artists acoustic performances in a writer's round style. This year's show was a benefit for the 100 Club of Houston and thanks to generous donations from Karbach Love Street, Bayway Chevrolet, Mak Haik Chevrolet, silent auction donors and live auction donors, The Bull helped to raise more than $20,000 for the 100 Club that will go to benefit the families of first responders who lost a loved one in the line of duty.
The night was kicked off by the legendary Texas favorite, Josh Abbot Band! Josh brought his mom and brother to the show and even dedicated his final song to her. It was the perfect kick off for the longest running Country Music showcase in Houston. Josh performed "Oh, Tonight" , "Wasn't That Drunk" , "She's Like Texas" & "Settle Me Down."

Following Josh's performance, Karbach Brewery got the donations rolling with a check presentation of $5,000 to the 100 Club we opened the 100 Club's Silent Auction of autographed guitars of each artist!

Bids were placed throughout the night and guitars distributed later in the evening. Thank you to everyone who bid and helped us raise money for the families of our first responders.

During the intermission, our friends at Mak Haik Chevrolet General Manager, Josh Potts presented the 100 Club of Houston with a check for $5,000!

The second portion of the 22nd Ten Man Jam presented Frank Ray, Elvie Shane, Caroline Jones & Kolby Cooper! Frank Ray was first to perform and this was his second appearance this year with The Bull as he performed in the Bull BBQ Shack at cookoff prior to RodeoHouston. He set the tone right away with shots of tequila and a performance of his single "Streetlights".

Elvie Shane kept the party fires burning with a shot or two of his own and a slew of gritty Country Music and a performance of his #1 single, "My Boy."

Caroline Jones followed Elvie's lead and brought the house down with her rendition of Copperhead Road! Caroline is the newest member of the Zac Brown Band and later performed her latest radio single, "Come In (but don't make yourself to comfortable)"

Next, Kolby Cooper took the spotlight and torched every person who'd ever done anyone wrong with his thorny break up songs! He closed his set with his latest radio single, from his "Boy from Anderson County to The Moon" album, "Excuses."

Prior to the final act taking the stage, we hosted a tribute to our first responders in the audience, presented the 100 Club with a $2,500 donation from Bayway Chevrolet and hosted a live auction for a guitar autographed by every artist! With George from The Morning Bullpen fresh out of Auctioneer School, we managed to raise $6,000 for the guitar signed by all of the stars at Ten Man Jam!

Next, Erik with a K from the Morning Bullpen performed his 10-Minute Tune on the spot with a subject suggested by one our audience members. It was a couple's 12th anniversary and she shaved his back before the show so that became the topic. Erik wrote the song "Shave Me Girl" to the tune of EYB's "Crazy Girl." As he was performing the 10-Minute Tune, the Eli Young Band came out and interrupted him to perform it with him! You can watch it on our Instagram HERE!

Eli Young Band kicked off the show and went on to perform "Crazy Girl", "Love Ain't" and "Even If It Breaks Your Heart." Seated to their right was newcomer and rising star Ashley Cooke! She performed a duet with Brett Young that's currently playing on 100.3 The Bull called "Never Til Now" and two more originals!

On the other side of Eli Young Band was the Grammy nominated, Ingrid Andress! Ingrid came to Ten Man Jam for the first time just weeks after scoring #1 with her duet with Sam Hunt called "Wishful Drinking".

Next to Ingrid Andress sat Jimmie Allen! Jimmie played his latest number one, "Freedom Was A Highway," also, his tribute to his dad, "Down Home" and a melody of his other #1 singles "Make Me Want To" and "Best Shot."

Finally, to Jimmie's right was Brett Young who was making his second appearance at Ten Man Jam. Brett had the crowd swooning and singing from the jump with "Lady", "Mercy" and turned the House of Blues and Ten Man Jam crowd into a choir with "In Case You Didn't Know."

The 22nd Ten Man Jam was one of the best we've ever had and we had over 30 first responders in the audience who'd all won tickets by nomination. The Bull will continue to support our first responders, military and neighbors at every turn and promise to provide the best country music on the radio and as much access to your favorite country stars as possible. Thank you for riding with 100.3 The Bull and thank you to our sponsors, Karbach Brewing, Bayway Chevrolet, Mak Haik Chevrolet, Boot Barn and Kendra Scott.
