It’s another Feinstein Friday for the Junkies, and John jumped on to talk about Aaron Rodgers' injury, Deion Sanders rankling fellow head coaches, and some early generalizations about the Commanders – but given the crisp fall weather, the guys discussed the Capitals’ outlook as hockey begins, and John kind of agrees with EB that the window is closing, but don’t count out a core that has already tasted a Cup.

“Probably…they have a new coach, so there’s a starting over factor there, but they’re definitely not getting any younger in that core,” Feinstein said. “Sometimes when guys get older, they have one last great season in them. Maybe Backstrom will be healthy all season, or Ovi will come up with one last great drive. You never say never.”
