Allen: Bills played 'resilient' in dominant victory over Jets

Bills quarterback Josh Allen addressed the media following his team's 30-10 win in New Jersey

East Rutherford, N.J. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills took care of business on Sunday, downing their division rival New York Jets once again with a 30-10 win at MetLife Stadium.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen did not have any flashy stats whatsoever in Sunday's beatdown of the Jets, completing 14 passes on 25 attempts for 148 yards. It was more so about the defense and the run game that helped carry the Bills to the win in the Meadowlands.

However, an injury to Allen's nose late in the first quarter kept him sidelined for a few plays before eventually returning to the contest.

"I don't know what hit me. If it was a knee, a hand, somebody's helmet. It just kind of came down right on the bridge of my nose and just started leaking," said Allen when addressing reporters following the win.

Allen appreciated the resilience of the team in the win on both sides of the football. This especially after one of the more memorable comebacks in recent years in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens on "Sunday Night Football".

"We went out there and learned from some mistakes that we had last week," Allen said. "Now, again, we're gonna have to watch this film. There are some mistakes today that we need to clean up, but just proud of how our guys attack the week."
