Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver and guard Ryan Bates are both day-to-day after suffering injuries in the team's 20-12 win over the New York Jets on Sunday, head coach Sean McDermott said on Monday.
Bates was injured while blocking for quarterback Josh Allen's third quarter touchdown run. He left the game with an ankle injury and didn't return. He was replaced by Greg Van Roten.
It's unclear when Oliver was injured with a chest ailment. He played 50 of a possible 74 snaps on defense.
The Bills host the Miami Dolphins on Saturday night in Orchard Park for an 8:15 p.m. EST kickoff.
