Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - Three more players from the Buffalo Bills have been named to the 2023 Pro Bowl Games. Tackle Dion Dawkins, tight end Dawson Knox and guard Rodger Saffold have all been named as replacements for this year's festivities set to take place in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Dawkins will be heading to his second-career Pro Bowl as he replaces Kansas City Chiefs tackle Orlando Brown. Meanwhile, Knox is taking part in his first Pro Bowl, replacing Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Both Brown and Kelce will not be taking part, as they get ready to take part in Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles.
As for Saffold, he heads to the Pro Bowl for the second time in his career as a replacement for Indianapolis Colts guard Quenton Nelson, who will not play due to injury.
Despite coming short of some career numbers from last season, Knox did come away finishing with 48 receptions for 517 yards and six touchdown receptions. That included a stretch of five-straight games (one playoff game included) with a touchdown grab towards the end of the season.
Dawkins and Knox both played 15 games this past regular season, while Saffold started 16 games in his first season with the Bills.
The trio of players join quarterback Josh Allen, wide receiver Stefon Diggs, safety Jordan Poyer, center Mitch Morse, and linebacker Matt Milano as the other Pro Bowlers representing the Bills this upcoming weekend. With eight members of the Bills heading to Las Vegas, it gives Buffalo its most Pro Bowl players in one season since the 1992 team had 10 Pro Bowlers.
